Club Programme for 2009
The programme is developing nicely, all the better for new offers and suggestions from new members.

Our diary of events goes as follows:
12 January: Natter Night - Come and show us what Santa brought you, and make us all envious!
26 January: Open Evening for Scouts - We're demonstrating the fun of amateur radio to scouts interested in joining the hobby.
09 February: Infra-red - by HBARC Chairman, Bob Head M0RHE. Feel a warm glow of satisfaction as you learn how these electromagnetic waves are used.
23 February: Vertex Standard/Yaesu UK Ltd. presentation - by sales director, Paul Bigwood, G3WYW. Get the latest from the man who knows.
09 March: No meeting at Crondall on this date - the venue is unavailable, so an alternative event and location will be announced.
23 March: Power Line Adaptor Noise on HF - a demonstration of the horrendous effects cause by some of these units by Kevin Wood G7BCS.
13 April: Easter Monday Bank Holiday - no meeting.
27 April: Annual General Meeting - all welcome.
11 May: Elecraft K3 Show & Tell - One of the first UK builders, David Ferrington M0XDF, shows us his fabulous rig on the air.
25 May: Bank Holiday - no meeting.
08 June: Eddystone Museum Visit - At last, the long touted trip has a date in the diary!
22 June: Peter Kirby G0TWW - we will be honoured to meet the General Manager of the RSGB! Come and ask questions, and express yourself too.
13 July: Farnham VHF Group - building and operating the popular local repeaters on 6m, 2m and 70cm, by David Chater-Lea G4EPX.
27 July: Space Weather - With a new sun-spot cycle on the way, come and learn how the Sun effects us, from Julian Parfitt 2E0XPJ.
10 August: Music Around the Home - how easy is it to pipe your music collection to every room in the house? By Kevin Wood G7BCS.
24 August: Natter Night - Bring your toys to show us all without a speaker interrupting the fun!
14 September: A long Aerial in the Garden - A detailed engineering saga with interesting hurdles, by David Ferrington M0XDF.
28 September:5 Ways to Steal Your Data - demonstrations and insight into the world of computer hacking and eCrime by Andy Cunningham M0HAK.
12 October: Natter Night - our theme will be permanent aerials at our new Runway's End venue. Come and give us your opinion!
26 October: Working 2m DX from Aldershot, a hole in the ground - yes, it can be done! Find out how from Paul Whatton G4DCV.
09 November:Junk Sale (doors open 8:15pm) - the ever popular auction is back! Come sell your junk and buy more to take home.
23 November: The UK Shipping Forecast - We've all wondered what all those words mean! Come and find out, from Julian Parfitt 2E0XPJ.
14 December: Radio Navigation Systems - Flt Lt J.D. Baker returns from Chinook operations in Afghanistan! Includes nibbles and mince pies...
